To help ensure a smooth application process, please read and follow these guidelines carefully.
Once you’ve determined that our mission, programs, and approach are appropriate for your child and family, you are encouraged to mail us your application along with the appropriate records, forms, and payment. You may request an application packet by filling out the information request form or calling us at 212-787-7070, ext. 103.
The admissions team will review your application to determine your child’s needs and if and how the Stephen Gaynor School can best meet them. If we appear to be the right match, we will ask you and your child to come in for an interview. We interview applicants November through June for admission the following academic year. Your application packets must be complete before we schedule an interview.
After the interview, we may ask your child to come back to spend time in one of our classrooms. A member of the admissions team may also observe your child in his or her current school.
