Gators Go Apple Picking

On Friday, September 21, Gaynor Gators traveled to Demarest Farms in New Jersey for the annual apple picking trip. Students visited the pumpkin patch, picked apples, posed on the hood of a vintage truck and went on truck rides around the farm. We spoke with students about what they liked about the trip.

Sam: “I liked bonding with my classmates and seeing my old teachers.” Andreas: “I enjoyed playing with my friends and picking apples.” Sean: “I really enjoyed the bus trip.” Joyce: “I really enjoyed going on the hay ride and seeing old friends.” Kai: “I enjoyed playing on the old truck after lunch.” Jonathan: “The trip was really fun!” Billy: “I really enjoyed having my first field trip at the Stephen Gaynor School, and I’m excited for more to come.” Odette: “When I climbed the tree to get everyone the perfect apple.” Sebastian: “When we bought the treats in the store.” Tom: “When we were getting on the hayride, someone left the ultimate apple and I got it!” Max: “Sean and I put our heads through the face-in-hole photo props and acted like the characters.”
