Evening Parent Talks

Coordinated by Dr. Lauren Levenson, Evening Parent Talks are an informal way for parents to discuss a variety of topics, and gain valuable information and resources. 

Talks during the 2024-2025 academic year include:

  • November 12: Director of Technology and Operations Matthew LeWinter and the Technology Team will be partnering with the Psychology Team in a Zoom presentation at 7:00 p.m.: Working Together to Support Digital Wellness
  • November 13: The Director of the Lower Division, Donna Logue, and psychologists Dr. Lauren Levenson and Dr. Marc Guttman will be hosting Entering the Tween Years, Part Two in person for Yellow Cluster families from 8:30-9:30 am in the North Cafeteria.
  • January 15, 2025: The Director of the Intermediate Division, Rebecca Felt, and psychologist Dr. Marc Guttman will be hosting What to Expect When You’re Expecting a Tweenager, Part Two in person for Silver and Green Cluster families from 8:30-9:30 am in the South Cafeteria. 
  • February 12, 2025: The Director of the Upper Division, Christine Karamanoglou, and Blue Cluster psychologist Kat Pearl will be hosting What to Expect When Parenting a Teenager via Zoom at 7:00 p.m.
  • February 26 and March 4, 2025: Dr. Lauren Levenson will be collaborating with Erica Kasindorf, Director of Placement and Coordinator of Student Advocacy, in a two-part virtual workshop series: Understanding Learning Differences and Empowering Students and Families to Self-Advocate: A Two-Part Series. Both events begin at 7:00 pm.
  • May 6, 2025: The Psychology Department will be collaborating with Erica Kasindorf and Elsie Andriamanantena from Gaynor’s Placement Office on, Life After Gaynor: Navigating the School Placement Process, via Zoom at 7:00 pm.
