During the visit, you will have a chance to hear about our individualized curriculum, view classes in session, and meet our students and faculty. Refreshments will be served.
Stephen Gaynor School is a school for students ages 3.5 to 14 years old. Our school provides a rich, rigorous, and nurturing environment in which children with a language based learning difference, such as dyslexia or expressive/receptive language difficulty, can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We are also able to support students with overlapping attentional or executive functioning challenges (such as ADHD).
Stephen Gaynor School students have a strong cognitive profile but often have difficulty with the acquisition of reading and writing skills. Our highly trained and dedicated teachers, specialists, and administrators create a climate of caring where students feel comfortable taking academic risks, secure in the knowledge that their educational journey is accompanied by success. We are excited to share our full program with you, including our co-curricular offerings, which include: fine arts, photography, music, drama, physical education, technology, student advocacy, and interscholastic athletics.
